Course overview

This course for users in CAD design with Allplan and AI introduces you to Allplan as a BIM-oriented CAD system for architecture, civil engineering, and infrastructure. You will learn how to create 3D models using architectural components such as walls, ceilings, and windows, and how to use SmartParts for parametric objects. The course also covers creating complex spaces, floor plans, and roof shapes, as well as 3D solid modeling. The addition of Artificial Intelligence (AI) will bring you closer to automated analyses of planning errors and collisions. You will learn to use AI for space optimization and design generation, as well as how to link Allplan with external AI systems. The course is particularly helpful for automating variant creation based on defined requirements. Upon successful completion, you will receive an IHK certificate.
