Smart Repair, also known as "Small to Medium Area Repair Technology," includes methods for specifically addressing minor damages to vehicles. Repairs are carried out on surfaces and components. These techniques are primarily used in vehicle preparation, especially for treating minor defects. Application areas of Smart Repair: Repair of plastic parts including color matching Refurbishment of leather interiors in vehicles Repair of dents and dings Paint corrections to remove scratches Glass repair and replacement of damaged windows Window tinting and vehicle wrapping What is taught in Spot Repair Contents of the module: Cosmetic wheel repairs Occupational safety and security measures Damage assessment and evaluation Handling spray cans and paint guns Color theory and color mixing techniques Materials science and environmentally friendly processes Basics of form and color theory This training focuses on the Spot Repair method within the Smart Repair techniques. It involves the localized repair of minor paint damages caused by scratches, stone chips, or chipping. The damage is eliminated through sanding, painting, and polishing, and the color surface is adjusted.
