These techniques are used in vehicle preparation and focus on the targeted repair of smaller damages. Smart Repair is used for: Elimination of dents and bulges Paint repair to remove scratches Repair of plastic parts with color matching Preparation of leather interior fittings Glass repair and replacement Vehicle wrapping and window tinting Automotive Glass Training: Content and Objectives: The focus of the training is on the exchange of front and rear windows as well as the repair of stone chip damage. Additionally, the replacement of mirrors and windows, the basics of sensor technology and its installation, as well as expertise in the areas of airbags and seatbelt tensioners will be taught. Legal foundations and basic knowledge will also be covered. The module on vehicle glazing in this Smart Repair training includes the repair and replacement of automotive glass. Damages such as stone chips or cracks that do not require a complete glass replacement are sealed with special resins. At the same time, the proper replacement of vehicle windows and other glass parts is also taught.
