Target group: Health and nursing professionals, pediatric nurses, geriatric nurses, doctors, pharmacists, podiatrists The content of the ICW® Basic Seminar Wound Expert is based on the curriculum of ICW® e.V.: DNQP Expert Standard "Care of People with Chronic Wounds" Anatomy and Physiology of the Skin Types of Wounds and Healing Wound Assessment and Documentation Pressure Ulcer (Prevention) Venous Ulcer (Prevention) and Compression Dressing Supply Pain (Origin, Assessment, Therapy) Hygiene Nutrition Legal Aspects of Wound Care Requirements for Observation (Report) The course is recognized by ICW® (www.icwunden.de). To qualify as a Wound Expert, the following requirements must be met: 2 days of observation Submission of a thesis (length: 5 pages) within 12 weeks after the written exam Participation in the in-person days
