Treatment Care LG1 / LG2 - Qualification according to §13 and §37 SGB V

Course overview

This program provides the necessary knowledge and skills for work in the field of treatment care in performance groups 1 and 2 according to the contract for home health care, home care, and household assistance in accordance with §§132, 132a Abs. 2 SGB V. For the subsequent independent execution of treatment care, a three-month internship for guidance and training by a three-year trained nursing professional in an approved care facility is required. Participants whose internship (e.g., through guidance at their employer or a prior binding commitment from a facility) is not secured before the start of the program must participate in the variant with an internship. The contents correspond to the curriculum for theoretical training according to §17 of the contract for home health care, home care, and household assistance in accordance with §§132, 132 a Abs. 2 SGB V. It includes both theoretical and practical components. - Blood pressure measurement - Nutrition in old age and blood sugar measurement - Medication administration (pharmacology) - Injections, s.c. - Handling of compression stockings - Care of pressure ulcers up to grade II - Care of a suprapubic catheter and handling of a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) - Fluid balance and administration of eye drops and ointments - Enemas and clysters - Inhalations - Conducting dermatological baths and medical rubs, cold therapy - Hygiene - Emergency - Liability law
