Course overview

The course is aimed at employees who want to further develop themselves or qualify for a new position. The content deepens communicative competencies in professional and office everyday life and expands subject-specific language skills, especially in language application. Professional conversation situations are the focus, and illustrative practical examples enhance linguistic competence. Sample topics for business language in German include: - Selection of a thematic focus: e.g., Sales - Commercial correspondence - Telephone communication in a professional context - Participation in meetings - Communication with colleagues, supervisors, and customers - Conducting negotiations - Department-specific vocabulary, e.g., Marketing, Finance This course format is tailored to everyday professional life and is eligible for funding under the Qualification Opportunities Act (QCG). The modules Basic (GER A2/B1) and Advanced (GER B1/B2) can be completed individually or combined. Together, we will determine your learning goals, assess your knowledge, and select the modules that are suitable for you.
