Course overview

Course Description With this course, you will specifically enhance your job-related English skills. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate that confirms your English proficiency according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). What you will learn in the course Expansion of professional vocabulary, e.g., on corporate strategies, market analysis, working conditions, time management, as well as customer service and customer retention Handling specific telephone situations, e.g., conference calls Writing emails with more complex content Using typical phrases and idioms in a professional context Expanding and purposefully applying grammatical structures Creating application documents and preparing for interviews in English What to expect You will improve your communication skills in a professional context You will gain confidence in oral and written expression You will apply the language in practical situations You will benefit from native-speaking instruction following the Berlitz Method Course Structure The modules start at the CEFR level A2.1 (Berlitz Level 2) and can be completed up to the CEFR level C1 (Berlitz Level 10). This course corresponds to the CEFR level B1.2 (Berlitz Level 6). The number of modules depends on your individual knowledge level and personal learning goals. Personal Consultation In a personal conversation, we will determine your goals and assess your current language skills both orally and in writing. This allows us to select the appropriate modules for you and tailor them to your knowledge level.
