Course overview

The training provides advanced knowledge and skills in the field of cloud security. It is designed as a generic qualification and serves as the foundation for vendor- and platform-specific specializations in subsequent course variants. The central areas of cloud security are addressed: fundamentals of secure cloud architectures and shared responsibility, security threat models and risk management, threat detection and incident response, as well as security logging, monitoring, and audit strategies. Additionally, infrastructure security and network security, identity and access management, data protection and encryption, security automation, as well as patch management and security operations are covered. Furthermore, compliance and governance aspects, backup and disaster recovery controls, and fundamentals of generative AI/ML security are taught.
