Cyber Security Analyst: Practical training for IT security. This practical training for Cyber Security Analysts provides you with expertise and applied methods for securing complex IT infrastructures, networks, and systems. The focus areas of the qualification are as follows: • Threat Analysis & Vulnerability Management: *Conducting vulnerability scans *Detection and isolation of malware (ransomware, trojans) as well as defense against phishing and social engineering attacks • Network Security & Infrastructure Hardening: *Configuration and management of firewalls, VPN tunnels, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) *Network analysis with Wireshark • Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing (Red Teaming): *Controlled hacking attacks *Identification of security gaps, exploiting, and developing sustainable protective measures • Security Operations & Incident Response (Blue Teaming): *Setting up and monitoring SIEM systems (Security Information and Event Management) *Structured approach to IT security incidents • Security Compliance & Frameworks: *Basics of ISO 27001 certification *BSI IT baseline protection, data protection in the IT environment (GDPR), and implementation of the EU Directive NIS-2. Upon completion, you will be able to analyze threats in real-time, defend against cyber attacks in the Security Operations Center (SOC), and proactively harden IT architectures.
