Course overview

This training provides in-depth knowledge in the field of agile project management as well as the Scrum framework. Participants receive a systematic overview of agile principles and their practical application. Both fundamental concepts and advanced topics such as quality management, project controlling, budget monitoring, as well as project initiation and planning are covered. Contents - Basics of agile and hybrid project management methods - Introduction to the Agile Manifesto and implementation of agile principles - Structure and application of the Scrum framework (roles, events, artifacts) - Development and leadership of self-organizing teams - Methods of agile quality and stakeholder management - Tools for project controlling and budget management - Approaches to continuous improvement and project maturity - Basics of project initiation, definition, and planning The goal of the course is to acquire a fundamental understanding of agile project management while considering the distinction from traditional methods. Participants will learn the central concepts, roles, and processes within Scrum and will be able to place them in a project-related context. Additionally, knowledge about structuring Scrum processes and creating and maintaining Product Backlogs will be conveyed. Another focus is on developing competencies in agile leadership, communication, and conflict management.
