Management of Care Facilities (Advanced Module for PDLs)

Course overview

In accordance with the regulation for the implementation of the Bavarian Care and Residential Quality Act (AVPfleWoqG) The further training for management of care facilities aims to provide the current professional knowledge necessary for leading a care facility for elderly people (according to AVPfleWoqG). It is designed to enable participants to apply the acquired leadership and organizational knowledge appropriately in professional practice, to positively shape the living and working environment of residents and staff, to adequately cope with the personal challenges associated with leadership tasks, and to develop a critical awareness of the interactions between leadership activities and societal, economic, ecological, and political influencing factors. Focus Areas: Module A: Social Leadership Qualifications Module B: Economic Qualifications Module C: Organizational Qualifications Module D: Structural Qualifications You will learn to reflect on your leadership and communication behavior, to implement changes professionally, to meet quality requirements of internal and external auditing bodies, to use existing resources efficiently, to consider and comply with legal requirements in decision-making, to successfully manage care facilities.
