Tool and method knowledge for the maintenance of electrical systems High-voltage certificate Level 2s What is Smart Electric Smart Electric includes: Diagnosis and maintenance of electrical vehicle systems Battery management and performance optimization Installation and calibration of charging technology and infrastructure Repair of high-voltage systems in electric vehicles Training on safety regulations for handling high-voltage components Programming and calibration of control units In the Smart Electric area, the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems of electric and hybrid vehicles are the focus. This includes working on high-voltage systems and electric drives, as well as managing vehicle batteries while adhering to safety standards. What is taught in Module 1: Fundamentals of Vehicle Technology This module covers the following content: Physical fundamentals and occupational safety Chassis construction: axles, steering, wheels, suspension, and brakes Drive systems, such as engines, transmissions, and drive shafts Inspection and use of testing equipment Special requirements for electric vehicles The first module of this training provides the fundamentals of vehicle technology with a special focus on electric vehicles. In addition to drive technology and the chassis, physical fundamentals and occupational safety measures relevant to working on electric vehicles are discussed. The teaching content also includes the inspection and use of testing equipment. What is taught in Module 2: Specialization in Electrical Engineering This module covers the following topics: Troubleshooting and data transmission in electronic systems Measurement of voltage, current, and resistance Handling high-voltage systems and their distortions Electric motors and their properties Energy generation, storage, and charging technology High-voltage certificate Level 2s Handling E-vehicles (E-bikes, E-scooters, electric cars) The second module of this Smart Electric training focuses on electrical engineering and the maintenance of electrical systems in electric and hybrid vehicles. Special emphasis is placed on high-voltage technology and battery management, as well as troubleshooting in electronic systems. Upon completion of the module, the high-voltage certificate Level 2s is obtained. High-voltage certificate Level 2s This qualification enables the performance of work on live high-voltage systems.
