This training course imparts knowledge in the field of Smart Electric, particularly in the maintenance of electrical vehicle systems, handling tools, and methods for maintaining electrical components in vehicles. Methods and tool knowledge Acquisition of the high-voltage certificate Level 2s What is meant by Smart Electric? Smart Electric deals with the maintenance, repair, and improvement of electrical systems in vehicles, especially those with electric or hybrid drives. The focus is on the diagnosis and maintenance of high-voltage systems, battery management, and working on electric drives according to safety regulations. The following areas are covered: Calibration and programming of control units and software Repair and diagnosis of electrical vehicle systems Installation and maintenance of charging infrastructures Maintenance of high-voltage systems in electric and hybrid vehicles Optimization of battery performance Safety training in handling high-voltage components What is taught in Module 1: Basics of Vehicle Technology This module covers the following content: Physical fundamentals and occupational safety Chassis structure: axles, steering, wheels, suspension, and brakes Drive systems, such as engines, transmissions, and drive shafts Inspection and use of testing equipment Special requirements for electric vehicles The first module of this training provides the fundamentals of vehicle technology with a special focus on electric vehicles. In addition to drive technology and the chassis, physical fundamentals and occupational safety measures relevant to working on electric vehicles are discussed. The teaching content also includes the inspection and use of testing equipment. Specialization: Electrical Engineering The second module of this training focuses on specialization in electrical engineering in electric and hybrid vehicles. Key topics include the diagnosis and maintenance of high-voltage systems, battery management, and charging technologies. Within the framework of the module, the high-voltage certificate 2s is obtained. The content taught includes handling electric vehicles such as e-scooters, e-bikes, and electric cars, as well as the fundamentals of voltage, current, and resistance in electrical systems. The functioning of electric motors, handling high-voltage systems and their distortions, as well as topics like energy generation, storage, and charging infrastructure are addressed. Additionally, electronic data transmission and fault diagnosis are discussed. High-Voltage Certificate 2s The high-voltage certificate 2s is the basis for work on high-voltage systems. It authorizes the diagnosis of faults and the performance of maintenance work on live systems while adhering to safety requirements.
