Tool knowledge and methods for working on electrical systems High-voltage certificate Level 2s included This is Smart Electric Smart Electric includes: Diagnosis and maintenance of electrical vehicle systems Battery management and performance optimization Installation and calibration of charging technology and infrastructure Repair of high-voltage systems in electric vehicles Training on safety regulations when handling high-voltage components Programming and calibration of control units In the field of Smart Electric, the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems of electric and hybrid vehicles are the main focus. This includes working on high-voltage systems and electric drives as well as managing vehicle batteries while adhering to safety standards. What is taught in Module 1: Basics of Vehicle Technology This module covers the following content: Physical fundamentals and occupational safety Chassis structure: axles, steering, wheels, suspension, and brakes Drive systems, such as engines, transmissions, and drive shafts Inspection and use of testing equipment Special requirements for electric vehicles The first module of this training provides the fundamentals of vehicle technology with a special focus on electric vehicles. In addition to drive technology and the chassis, physical fundamentals and occupational safety measures that are significant for working on electric vehicles are discussed. The teaching content also includes the inspection and use of testing equipment. Module 2: Specialization in Electrical Engineering The second module of the Smart Electric training focuses on electrical engineering in electric and hybrid vehicles. It covers the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including high-voltage systems and battery management. Charging technology is also addressed. The high-voltage certificate 2s is part of this module. The teaching content includes: Electronic data transmission and troubleshooting Electric motors and their operation Voltage, current, and resistance measurements Handling electric vehicles (e-scooters, e-bikes, electric cars) High-voltage systems and their distortions Energy generation and charging technology High-voltage certificate 2s for work on production vehicles High-voltage certificate 2s This qualification is necessary to work on high-voltage systems that are live. It entitles the holder to diagnose faults in such systems and independently carry out maintenance and repair work while adhering to applicable safety regulations.
