The focus of this training is on disciplines of Smart Electric. It covers the maintenance of electrical vehicle components as well as the proper handling of tools. Topics: Methods and tools for electrical maintenance Obtaining the High Voltage Certificate Level 2s Smart Electric Overview Smart Electric refers to the maintenance, diagnosis, and optimization of electrical and electronic systems in vehicles with electric and hybrid drives. The focus is on the analysis and maintenance of high-voltage systems, battery management, and electric drives while adhering to safety standards. The areas of Smart Electric include the maintenance of high-voltage systems in hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as battery management and efficiency optimization. Safety training for handling electric drives is also covered, along with the calibration and programming of control units. Additionally, the program includes the installation and maintenance of charging technologies, as well as the diagnosis and repair of electrical systems. Smart Electric Basics: Content and Objectives The content of this module includes inspection procedures and the use of testing equipment, drive technology focusing on motors, transmissions, and drive shafts, as well as the chassis, including axles, wheels, suspension, brakes, and steering. Physical fundamentals and occupational safety in electromobility are taught, addressing the specifics of electric vehicles. This first module of the Smart Electric training covers the essential basics of vehicle technology and emphasizes the specific requirements of electric vehicles. In addition to drive technology and the chassis, occupational safety standards and physical fundamentals related to electromobility are also taught. Furthermore, vehicle inspection is addressed.
