These methods focus on the elimination of damage. In vehicle preparation, Smart Repair is primarily used for surface and minor damages. Typical application areas of Smart Repair include the repair of scratches through paint repairs, the correction of dents and bulges, as well as the repair of damaged plastic parts with color matching. Additionally, the refurbishment of leather and interior fittings is carried out, glass repairs are performed, and windshields are replaced. Vehicle wrapping and window tinting are also common areas of activity. Autoglass Training Content This training addresses the Smart Repair field of autoglass. This includes the repair of minor damages to vehicle glazing that do not require windshield replacement, such as stone chips or cracks. Special resins are used to fill and seal the damaged area. The replacement of vehicle windows and other glass parts is also taught.
