Course overview

This training course provides you with the fundamentals of financial accounting and business accounting. You will learn to systematically record business transactions, perform bookings according to the principles of proper accounting, and handle typical business processes from procurement, sales, and human resources in an accounting context. Content: Understand the tasks, significance, and legal foundations of accounting as well as the structure of business accounting Apply the systematics of double-entry bookkeeping with inventory, inventory lists, balance sheets, and equity Open asset and income accounts, book business transactions, and properly close accounts Create simple and compound journal entries and apply the profit and loss account Safely conduct purchases and sales of goods and the accounting treatment of value-added tax Properly book private withdrawals, private deposits, and other typical business transactions Apply the organization of accounting with account frameworks, account plans, documentation, and the principles of proper accounting (GoB) Process business transactions in procurement and sales areas, including acquisition costs, sales costs, returns, and discounts Understand the basics of asset accounting and depreciation as well as the impacts of business transactions on balance sheets and business success Learn the fundamentals of personnel cost recording and bookings related to wages, salaries, advances, benefits in kind, and special allowances Perspectives: With this qualification, you will have solid knowledge of financial accounting and business accounting.
