Course overview
This training course provides the fundamental IT knowledge required for system administration in the context of Industry 5.0. The focus is on the integration of IT technologies into industrial processes, including programming, control, and configuration of industrial plants, as well as the implementation of automation and robotics solutions. IT in Industry 5.0 Training The IT applications in Industry 4.0 include the management and development of networks and databases, as well as the use of automation technologies and robotics. Additionally, the control and programming of industrial plants and the development of security concepts for IT systems are central areas of responsibility. Furthermore, the implementation of digital twins and cyber-physical systems in industrial processes is addressed. IT in Industry 5.0 aims to integrate IT technologies into industrial processes. Areas such as data management, network security, control technology, and automation are combined to create intelligent production systems that are interconnected. Introduction: Basics of IT The module provides an introduction to the concepts of IT, digital technology, and programming with Python. It presents the fundamentals of applied measurement technology, control, and regulation technology, establishing a foundation for further topics. Basics of IT The basics of IT include the definition of key terms in information technology as well as the physical and technical foundations necessary for understanding and applying IT systems. Programming Basics The basics of programming offer an introduction to programming with Python and Raspberry Pi. Fundamental programming concepts such as program structures, control structures (e.g., conditions and loops), and classes are taught. Additionally, the use of common programming environments such as Visual Studio Code, Jupyter Notebook, and PyCharm is covered. Measurement Technology, Control Technology, and Regulation Technology In measurement technology, control technology, and regulation technology, the fundamentals of measurement and control technology are taught. This includes working with control systems using the TIA Portal and PLC technology, as well as hardware design with EPLAN. Further content includes the configuration of networks and devices, as well as working with data types, variables, and data blocks. Certification The training concludes with a certification as an Automation Technician in the TIA Portal, corresponding to ZVEI Level 1. Requirements for Participation Basic interest in IT and industrial processes A completed vocational training, an IT degree, or a corresponding qualification adjustment; or a passed aptitude test Language level B1 in German
