Fundamentals of AI, OKR, and DevOps for Project Managers and IT Professionals

Course overview

Objective and Overview This training program combines three courses to provide project managers and IT professionals with comprehensive knowledge in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Objectives and Key Results (OKR), and DevOps. The program aims to enhance the ability to effectively design and manage projects using modern methods and technologies. Content The course "AI for Project Managers" introduces the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and highlights specific applications in project management. Topics such as Foundation Models, open-source AI tools, the implementation of AI projects, as well as ethical, data protection, and legal frameworks will be covered. Additionally, soft skills for AI projects such as communication, leadership, and change management will be taught. An excursion into project management and an additional topic on working with ChatGPT will round off this course. The course "OKR" teaches the Objectives and Key Results framework to enhance corporate performance and agility. It covers leadership in volatile environments (VUCA), the basics and cycle of OKR, strategic clarity through the strategy pyramid, and the creation of a positive work culture and psychological safety. The course focuses on setting Objectives and Key Results, their implementation and introduction in organizations, measuring results, and synchronization across different levels. Practical exercises, linking strategy with actions, the Living OKR concept with check-ins, CFRs (Conversations, Feedback, Recognition), and coaching, as well as review and retrospective processes for institutionalizing learning experiences will also be addressed. The course "DevOps Foundation Fast Track" focuses on the key concepts and practices of DevOps to accelerate IT processes. Content includes an introduction to DevOps and agile concepts, the values, principles, culture, and behavior in the DevOps environment, as well as stakeholder collaboration. Agile methods, service management, roles, toolchains, and central DevOps practices such as Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment will be explained. Excursions will cover Continuous Everything, testing methods, quality assurance, containers, microservices, open source, lean thinking, and lean production, as well as the DevOps tool landscape. Metrics, KPIs, change management, resilience, and process automation will also be discussed, along with Scrum, Kanban, and scaled agile frameworks. Innovative practices such as ChatOps and Dojo, value stream analysis, continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and the concepts of the "Three Ways" will be introduced.
