Course overview

The Fundamentals of UX Design course aims to provide you with essential professional UX skills. This is achieved and reinforced through the development of a real project portfolio across five distinct modules. Structured into two parts - an Introduction (Introduction to UX Design) and a Main Section (Deep Dive) - the course is divided into a total of five modules, consisting of 45 tasks. Within each section, you will work on a project suggested by CareerFoundry. Here's an overview of the five modules: Introduction (Introduction to UX Design) One module consisting of ten tasks Main Section (Deep Dive) Four modules consisting of a total of 35 tasks Thinking like a UXer Understanding the User Foundational Design Usability Testing The Fundamentals of UX Design course follows a project-based learning model, also known as Learning-by-Doing. The curriculum is practical and project-oriented: every step taken during the course contributes to building a professional portfolio, which simultaneously serves as a foundation for potential job applications. Our learning platform provides comprehensive learning materials supplemented with videos and assignments. Additionally, you'll receive support from a personal tutor and mentor who will answer questions and provide extensive feedback on your projects. The course concludes not with a final exam, but rather when all required tasks have been submitted, reviewed, and approved by your tutor and mentor.
