This training program develops IT skills for Industry 4.0, particularly in the areas of system administration, Big Data, and the control of industrial plants. Focus areas include programming, control, and configuration of systems, as well as preparation for relevant IT certifications. Certifications in IT topics, such as the ICDL certification Control and configuration of industrial plants Application of Big Data technologies in industry Overview of IT in Industry 4.0 The IT component of Industry 4.0 focuses on the networking and integration of IT technologies into industrial production processes. By combining control and automation technology, network security, and database management, connected, intelligent production systems are created. IT knowledge in Industry 4.0 is applied in the creation of networks and database management, as well as in the programming and control of industrial plants. Security measures for IT systems are developed, and the use of robotics and automation technologies is supported. Additionally, digital twins and cyber-physical systems are utilized. Specialization: IT in Industry 4.0 The module imparts advanced IT knowledge in the field of Industry 4.0. Building on the fundamentals, specialized knowledge in databases, networks, security, and control technology is provided. Databases and SQL The content on database management and SQL covers the basics of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2, as well as the use of Python in conjunction with SQL. Big Data approaches, including Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Lakehouse, are also addressed. Cloud-based database systems and working with JSON data are also part of the training. Network and System Administration The content of network and system administration includes the basics of network configuration and working with protocols such as TCP/IP, IPv4, and IPv6. DNS/DHCP and aspects of network security are covered, as well as the configuration of routers and switches. An introduction to server technologies is also part of the training. Network Security and System Protection The content on network security and system protection addresses various types of attacks on IT systems and the corresponding countermeasures. The setup and configuration of Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and firewalls are taught. Additionally, security vulnerabilities are analyzed, and protection strategies are developed. Basics of Control Technology The basics of control technology include electronics and control systems as well as telecommunications technology. Sensors and actuators for industrial applications are also covered, along with communication protocols in the industrial environment.
