Integrated Management Qualification for Nursing Professionals

Course overview

The training is conducted in cooperation with the Diocesan Caritas Association Paderborn and the IN VIA Academy Paderborn, is carried out alongside work, and lasts for 24 months. It comprises 824 hours, divided into 724 hours of theory and 100 hours of practice. The theoretical instruction takes place in 12 weekly modules, each consisting of 40 hours, alternating at the locations in Geseke and Paderborn. Between the theory modules, there are 9.5 in-person study days of 8 hours each. Additionally, a total of 7 supervisions are planned. The practical training includes 4 internships. Internships 1-3 take place in various healthcare facilities: Outpatient care facility Residential elderly care facility Hospital or other network partners. Each of these internships has a duration of 20 hours (2 days of internship and report preparation). The 4th internship takes place in the participant's own facility. This internship comprises 40 hours and is associated with a practical task. A 40-hour quality management or organizational development project must also be carried out in the participant's own facility. This includes preparing a project report and a presentation for the final colloquium.
