Course overview

This training course covers IT security, data protection, GDPR, and troubleshooting in the digital workplace. The course organizes work processes, communication channels, access, devices, and the handling of personal data in typical digital task areas. Data Protection and Work Processes Data protection in task profiles describes tasks, interfaces, boundaries of responsibility, and handovers in 1st-level support, administrative processing, and project assistance. Business processes organize input, output, processing steps, responsibilities, handovers, status, and simple process sketches. Data protection in communication channels within the process organizes email, chat, meetings, and tickets according to urgency, documentation needs, binding nature, and involved parties. IT Security for Access and Devices IT security includes strong passwords, passphrases, password managers, passkeys, multi-factor authentication, backup codes, and recovery methods. Phishing and social engineering cover sender, URL, language, attachments, login pages, QR codes, and response steps in suspected IT security cases. IT security in device hygiene includes updates, screen locks, secure networks, download caution, USB risks, and basic rules for shared workspaces. Data Protection, GDPR, and Troubleshooting GDPR and data protection cover personal data, protection needs, GDPR principles, consent, rights of data subjects, internal sharing, redaction, and simple anonymization in data protection. Troubleshooting addresses problem description, reproducibility, recent changes, narrowing down, help systems, knowledge databases, AI, and documentation of solutions in tickets.
