ITIL 5, Scrum, and PRINCE2

Course overview

The modular course combines IT service management according to ITIL 5, agile working according to Scrum, and classical project management according to PRINCE2 at both Foundation and Practitioner levels. It covers the Service Value System and the Digital Product Lifecycle according to ITIL, the roles and events of the Scrum framework, as well as the practical application of PRINCE2 principles, themes, and processes in real project scenarios. Additionally, it demonstrates how principles, practices, and tailoring can be applied to specific project situations. The course thus creates a comprehensive foundation of service management, agile collaboration, and advanced project control. The length of the training depends on the composition of the course modules and individual prior knowledge. ITIL Foundation (Version 5) o The four dimensions of product and service management: Organizations and People, Information and Technology, Partners and Suppliers, Value Streams and Processes o ITIL Service Value System with the seven guiding principles and the value chain o Digital Product and Service Lifecycle with activities such as Discover, Design, Build, and Operate o New content on AI governance, agentic AI, and value stream identification in the service context o Exam preparation and certification: ITIL Foundation (Version 5) Scrum Foundation o Agile mindset, the Agile Manifesto, and differentiation from classical project management methods o Scrum roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Development Team) and their responsibilities o Scrum events such as Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Retrospective, as well as key artifacts o Planning, estimation techniques, and monitoring of Scrum projects using Backlog and Burndown charts o Exam preparation and certification: Agile Scrum Foundation PRINCE2 Foundation o The seven PRINCE2 principles as the foundation of consistent project management o The seven themes, including Business Case, Organization, Quality, Plans, and Risk o The seven processes from project initiation to project closure o Management products such as project initiation documentation and roles in the project board o Exam preparation and certification: PRINCE2 Foundation PRINCE2 Practitioner o Application of the seven PRINCE2 principles to complex project situations o In-depth work with the practices Business Case, Organization, Plans, Quality, Risk, Issues, and Progress o Control of the processes from project initiation to project closure o Tailoring the method to different project environments and people management aspects o Exam preparation and certification: PRINCE2 Practitioner Next step: Request a non-binding consultation for individual course composition and flexible start dates.
