Course overview

The course "AI Expert" provides comprehensive knowledge about the fundamentals, application possibilities, and organizational aspects of Artificial Intelligence in companies and organizations. The goal of the training is to develop a solid understanding of AI technologies and to be able to classify their use in various professional and economic contexts. Participants acquire knowledge about how AI systems work, what technical and organizational prerequisites are necessary for their use, and how AI projects can be planned, implemented, and evaluated in companies. The course is aimed at professionals from various industries, particularly from areas such as IT, project management, data analysis, business development, marketing, controlling, or digital transformation, as well as individuals who are professionally involved with AI applications or wish to expand their skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence. At the beginning of the training, fundamental concepts of Artificial Intelligence are taught. Participants learn key terms and technologies, including machine learning, neural networks, data analysis methods, and generative AI. It is explained how AI systems process data, recognize patterns, and derive predictions or automated decisions from them. The aim is to create a basic understanding of how modern AI technologies work and to realistically classify their possibilities and limitations. Another component of the course is the examination of data as a central foundation for AI applications. Participants learn about the role of data quality, data structure, and data management for the successful use of AI. It is taught how data from various sources can be collected, structured, and prepared for analysis processes. Furthermore, fundamental methods of data analysis that are used in AI projects to recognize patterns, relationships, and trends are covered. The course also addresses typical application areas of Artificial Intelligence in companies and organizations. These include, for example, automated data analysis, intelligent assistance systems, process automation, generative AI applications, recommendation systems, or AI-supported decision-making. Participants engage with the question of where AI can be sensibly applied and what organizational prerequisites are necessary for successful implementation. Another focus of the training is on the planning and implementation of AI projects. Participants learn basic project management methods in the context of digital technologies and deal with the development of AI strategies within the company. It is conveyed how suitable application cases are identified, project goals defined, and technical solutions selected.
