AI - Frontend Programming

Course overview

AI programming in the frontend combines an introduction to Python with the creation of websites that utilize language models and other learning tools. The course covers the basics of programming languages, digital transformation, big data, and data protection, leading to categories, functionality, and application areas of artificial intelligence, implementing the learned concepts with website builders, shop systems, and design tools. This creates a technical understanding of programming, data processing, and digital systems in a professional context. Competency Goals Apply basic programming techniques and write initial scripts Classify the digital transformation and utilize principles of digital project and change management Consider big data and data protection as a framework for handling data Differentiate categories and functionality of AI systems as well as the basics of machine learning and their application areas Control ChatGPT, Claude, Google Gemini, and NotebookLM through prompt engineering while considering security aspects and legal foundations Build websites using builders and page builders, set up shops, and create graphics Evaluate visitor numbers and discoverability of a website using web analytics tools Topics and Connections The starting point is Python: variables, data types, loops, and functions as tools to create initial programs; Java is also used as a second language. This is followed by an examination of digital transformation - what it changes in companies and professions, how digital projects and change initiatives are managed, and what rules big data and data protection set for large data volumes. The second strand focuses on artificial intelligence: its categories, the operation of learning systems, application cases such as in the healthcare sector, the use of AI tools along with security questions, the basics of machine learning, the formulation of prompts, and the legal framework for their use. Those learning AI programming will subsequently transfer these components to the frontend: pages with HTML and CSS, appearances with WordPress, locally developed with Local WP and designed with Elementor, shops on Shopify and WooCommerce, graphics and layouts learned through Canva, as well as evaluation with Google Analytics 4 and the Google Search Console. The language models accompany the implementation.
