Course overview

Become an AI Manager (IHK): Safely, legally, and productively implement artificial intelligence (AI) in your company. In this part-time continuing education program, you will qualify as an AI Manager (IHK) as well as an AI Manager with a focus on cybersecurity and compliance (DAFI). You will learn practically how to apply, control, and responsibly integrate artificial intelligence into business processes in everyday work. This is applicable across industries and does not require technical prior knowledge. As an AI Manager, you will develop an AI strategy, select appropriate AI tools, effectively utilize generative AI (prompting for text, images, and data), and ensure safe and legally compliant usage. A special focus is placed on AI and compliance (EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR), data protection, ethics, and cybersecurity. These are precisely the competencies that companies seek in digitalization. Course contents: • Fundamentals of AI and AI Strategy: Define goals, roles, and guidelines, select AI technologies, and plan, manage, and securely integrate AI projects into corporate structures. • AI Tools for Everyday Work: Safe and efficient use of common AI tools, effective prompting, and critical evaluation of results. • AI and Compliance: EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, GDPR, liability, transparency, bias, and ethical responsibility. • Safe AI Application: Recognize cybercrime related to AI (deepfakes, phishing, data manipulation) and promote a strong security culture. • Data Competence and Data Management: Data lifecycle, data quality, GDPR, and avoidance of data bias. • Automation, AI Agents, and Multi-Agent Systems: Automate processes, safely and compliantly deploy AI agents. Format: Live online, part-time, 4 months, 480 teaching units, laptop provided if needed, instruction language German.
