Course overview

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the workplace - many companies are asking: What can AI really do? And how can we use it sensibly and safely? In this IHK certificate course, you will learn the essential fundamentals: What is AI, how does it work, and what is special about Generative AI. You will also see where AI can practically help in companies - for example, in sales and marketing, purchasing and logistics, finance, human resources, as well as in research, production, and quality. It also addresses responsible use: How do we build trust ("Trustworthy AI"), what new risks are there (e.g., artificially generated content, manipulation of inputs, or excessive automation), and what does the EU regulation (EU AI Act) mean for practice? Your benefit: AI managers understand the strategic importance of AI for the future development of the company and its business processes. You can • identify and evaluate specific application areas of AI in your own company. • develop a long-term AI vision and a roadmap for implementation. • take on the key role as advisors, initiators, and multipliers for AI applications.
