Course overview

In this training, you will develop competencies for the strategic classification, evaluation, and use of Artificial Intelligence in companies and organizations. You will learn how AI technologies work, what application possibilities they offer, and how their introduction and use can be planned and supported in a corporate context. The training provides you with a fundamental understanding of the technological foundations of Artificial Intelligence as well as an overview of current developments and future trends. You will engage with various forms of modern AI systems and examine their potentials, limitations, and impacts on companies, work processes, and business models. A focus is placed on analyzing application areas for Artificial Intelligence. You will learn to identify application possibilities in different business areas, evaluate their benefits, and derive potentials for process improvements, automation, and data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, you will deal with the strategic integration of AI in companies. You will learn how AI initiatives can be planned, evaluated, and organizationally anchored. Both economic and organizational, legal, and ethical aspects will be considered. Another component of the training is the critical engagement with the opportunities and risks of AI systems. You will learn to assess impacts on employees, processes, and corporate structures, as well as to consider requirements for transparency, responsibility, and the responsible use of AI. Upon completion of the training, you will have the knowledge to professionally accompany AI projects, evaluate application potentials, and support the strategic use of Artificial Intelligence in the company.
