AI Officer and Consultant

Course overview

Objective The training program provides comprehensive knowledge and skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for strategic and operational application in companies. It enables participants to take on the role of an AI Officer or AI Consultant, identify AI potentials, manage implementation processes, and meet compliance requirements. Content The training is divided into two main modules. The "AI Officer" module covers the fundamentals of the AI Officer role, the EU AI Act, and relevant legislation. Additionally, ethical guidelines, responsibilities in AI development, risk management, and compliance in AI applications are addressed. Key focuses include data protection and data security in AI systems, transparency and traceability of AI models, as well as the implementation of audit and certification processes. Practical application cases and best practices, documentation and reporting in AI projects, stakeholder management and communication in the AI environment, as well as training and awareness programs for AI are also covered. Finally, change management and implementation strategies, the evaluation of AI systems using metrics and performance analysis, as well as future perspectives and the importance of critical thinking in AI management with appropriate tools are conveyed. The "AI Consultant (v2.0)" module introduces AI consulting and addresses corporate analysis for AI readiness and the identification of AI potentials. The design of an AI pilot project, data strategy and infrastructure for AI, as well as change management and training are additional contents. Success measurement and scaling of AI projects are also discussed, along with specific excursions to tools such as Flowise, API integrations, Azure-based AI applications, and self-hosted internal AI applications. The preparation of management presentations and a collection of useful links round off the module. An excursion on AI in German companies in September 2025 addresses opportunities, limitations, and success factors. Learning Objectives Participants acquire the ability to take on the role of an AI Officer and shape the strategic direction of AI in the company. They learn to understand and apply legal and ethical frameworks for AI applications. Identifying AI potentials, designing and managing AI projects, as well as implementing AI solutions are also part of the learning objectives. Furthermore, competencies in risk management, data protection, and data security in the context of AI are imparted. Participants will be able to evaluate AI systems and accompany change management processes. Career Prospects The training qualifies participants for positions in AI management, as AI Officers or AI Consultants. Areas of activity include strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of AI projects across various industries.
