The course "AI Text Generation" provides knowledge about the creation, editing, and analysis of texts using Artificial Intelligence. The focus is on how generative AI systems can be used to create, structure, and revise texts for various professional purposes. The training is aimed at individuals from fields such as marketing, communication, editing, administration, project management, customer service, education, e-commerce, or corporate organization, as well as professionals who want to use AI-supported tools to assist in writing, research, and documentation processes. At the beginning of the course, participants receive an introduction to the fundamentals of generative Artificial Intelligence. It explains how large language models work, the role of training data and algorithms in text generation, and the types of AI systems that can be used for automated text creation. Participants will learn basic terms and technologies related to AI text generation, including Large Language Models, neural networks, and data-driven language models. The goal is to develop a fundamental understanding of how generative AI systems work and to realistically assess their possibilities and limitations. A key component of the course is the practical use of AI text generators to support various writing and communication tasks. Participants will learn how to structure inputs to AI systems to generate relevant and comprehensible texts. It will be taught how AI-supported tools can be used, for example, for creating informational and technical texts, summaries, reports, emails, concepts, product descriptions, or marketing texts. Furthermore, it will be addressed how texts can be revised, structured, or linguistically adjusted with the help of AI. Another focus of the course is the analysis and evaluation of AI-generated texts. Participants will learn to critically examine automatically generated content, assess its plausibility, and, if necessary, correct or supplement it. It will be explained what typical errors or inaccuracies can occur with generative AI systems and how a professional review of the results should be conducted. The aim is to promote a responsible and reflective approach to AI-generated content. Additionally, the course covers various application fields of AI text generation in professional contexts. These include, among others, supporting communication processes, creating documentation, preparing information for internal or external communication, and using AI systems for structured information processing. Participants will learn how generative AI can be integrated into existing workflows to support writing processes and make information work more efficient. Another component of the training is the legal and organizational framework conditions for the use of AI text generators.
