Competence in Care

Course overview

Care is a field with a future. Even today, there is a shortage of qualified professionals in Germany. The fields of elderly and nursing care also offer excellent employment opportunities. The training is conducted by the Bildungsinstitut Vogel. The modules consist of between 40 and 200 teaching hours. Some modules also include practical learning phases and examinations. In the "Competence in Care" program, you can choose from five different modules: Do you want to become self-employed as a daily companion or work in care services/groups? Module: Daily Companionship according to §45a SGB XI Scope: 40 teaching hours Are you already working as a daily companion and want to be involved in household care? Module: Basics of Household Care for People in Need of Care Scope: 80 teaching hours Are you interested in the area of care but do not have any specific therapeutic or nursing training? Module: Care Assistant according to §§43b, 53b SGB XI: Orientation and Basic Course Scope: 116 teaching hours; 40 hours practical learning phase Module: Care Assistant according to §§43b, 53b SGB XI: Advanced Course Scope: 60 teaching hours, 80 hours practical learning phase Do you want to work in a residential care facility or in home care and need a qualification? Module: Treatment Care Performance Group 1 and 2 200 teaching hours, 3 months practical learning phase (full-time, part-time, dual study)
