Course overview

The Vocational School for Continuing Education in Nursing (FWP) offers professionals the opportunity to further qualify themselves in part-time form - while working. The training lasts two years. Upon successful completion of the "Management of a Care and Functional Unit" program, you can acquire the qualification as a "Specialist in Geriatric Psychiatry" within one year. In a total of three years, you have the opportunity to obtain two qualifications. At the same time, you will achieve the vocational pedagogical qualification for practical instruction - thus a third qualification. Additionally, you have the opportunity to apply for a subject-related bachelor's degree program at a university in Baden-Württemberg. The vocational school for continuing education is also an interesting option for companies to further educate their own staff. The established structure in weekly blocks allows for long-term planning of personnel deployments. Thanks to state funding, it is possible to achieve a high qualification with a low personal contribution. Both training programs are accredited according to AZAV. The acceptance of education vouchers is possible.
