Logistics + Industry 4.0 + Robotics + Programming This training course provides knowledge of logistical fundamentals and their significance in Industry 4.0. It also covers the introduction to robotics and interconnected systems, as well as the programming of robotic systems using ROS. Module 1: Fundamentals of Logistics Module 2: Introduction to Robotics and Industry 4.0 Technologies Module 3: Introduction to Programming Robotic Systems with ROS Fundamentals of Logistics Introduction to Logistics Systems: Overview of logistical basic concepts, functions, and the importance of logistics in industrial value chains. Processes & Networks: Basics of material and information flows, logistics concepts, and control models in the context of Industry 4.0. Planning & Organization: Logistics planning, load carrier management, route planning, and container management as strategic elements of modern logistics. IT & Digitalization: Basics of logistics IT, automation, data analysis, and future technologies such as digital twins and smart logistics. Safety & Regulations: Initial insights into protective regulations, packaging fundamentals, customs processes, and legal aspects in logistics. Introduction to Robotics and Industry 4.0 Technologies Robotics: Mechanical structures, degrees of freedom, and motion control. Sensor Technology & Actuators: Use of sensors for environmental perception and precise actuator control. Connected Systems: Cyber-physical systems and data integration in the smart factory. Automation: Real-time communication, digital control, and IoT connectivity in robotics. Introduction to Programming Robotic Systems with ROS ROS Basics: Structure, middleware functionality, and communication mechanisms. Programming: Creation and management of nodes, topics, and services. Simulation Tools: Use of Gazebo and Rviz for visualization and testing of robotic applications. Use Cases: Control of autonomous vehicles and gripping systems in logistics. Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to optimize logistical processes and implement modern technologies such as robotics and ROS programming in industrial applications.
