It covers various types of warehouses, the operational handling of inbound and outbound processes, as well as the use of digital solutions and automated systems in modern warehouse and logistics processes. Module 1: Introduction to Warehouse Logistics Module 2: Basics of Shipping Logistics Module 3: Applications and Concepts of Digital Twins in Industry Introduction to Warehouse Logistics Types of Warehouses & Warehouse Technology: Introduction to block, rack, flow, and automated storage systems, fundamentals of warehouse logistics and its role in the supply chain. Inbound and Outbound Processes: Operational procedures for storage, retrieval, and inventory management, supported by warehouse logistics software. Warehouse Planning & Organization: Basics of warehouse structure planning, use of material handling equipment, and container management in modern warehouse systems. IT & Automation: Use of warehouse technology, automated systems, and digital solutions in the context of Industry 4.0. Basics of Shipping Logistics Shipping Processing & Packing Processes: Structured processes from order picking to shipping, including selection of packing materials and aids. Hazardous Goods & Load Securing: Basics of hazardous goods logistics, legal requirements, and practical securing of shipments. Export & Customs Processes: Customs clearance, document management, and international shipping regulations in daily logistics operations. Digital Shipping Solutions: IT systems for shipping planning, track & trace, and automated shipping processes to increase efficiency. Applications and Concepts of Digital Twins in Industry Digital Models: Representation of physical assets in 3D and data models. Analysis & Monitoring: Real-time monitoring and performance evaluation. Optimization: Scenario planning for process improvement and risk minimization. Integration: Linking with IoT platforms, ERP, and MES systems. Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to plan, monitor, and optimize both traditional and digital logistics processes. Modern IT systems and automation technologies will be employed.
