Course overview

The training provides practical knowledge for the operational management of logistics and distribution processes within interconnected supply chains. The focus is on coordinating material movements, aligning warehouse and transport functions, and the targeted use of digital control systems. The goal is to efficiently organize operational processes, create transparency along the supply chain, and economically align distribution processes. Module 1: Operational Logistics Management Module 2: Control of Material and Transport Processes Module 3: Distribution and Digital Process Support Module 1: Operational Logistics Management Structure and flow of operational processes Positioning logistics operations within the supply chain Organization of handling, storage, and transport processes Roles and responsibilities in operational operations Digital representation of core logistics processes Module 2: Control of Material and Transport Processes Coordination of physical goods movements Planning and control of order picking and inventory management Capacity and utilization planning in transport Tour and route structuring Analysis of operational performance indicators Module 3: Distribution and Digital Process Support Efficient delivery structures Organization of national and international shipping processes Use of track-and-trace systems Automated workflow control in distribution centers Consideration of legal and safety-related requirements Upon completion, participants will be able to structure, control, and digitally support operational logistics and distribution processes.
