Material and information flows: Basic knowledge of logistical networks and control mechanisms in the Industry 4.0 environment. Organization & Control: Strategic planning of transports, container management, and load carriers. Digital technologies: Introduction to logistics software, automation solutions, and data analytics including digital twins. Strategies for Sustainable Logistics Processes Ecological responsibility: Integration of ecological criteria into logistics planning. Transport optimization: Use of alternative drives and multimodal transport networks. Circular economy: Promotion of reuse, repair, and recycling. Stakeholder reporting: Transparency through sustainability reports and legal requirements. Introduction to Shipping Software and ERP Integration Use of digital shipping tools: Support for order capture, label printing, and status monitoring. ERP system integration: Automated data transfer to optimize shipping and logistics processes. Communication interfaces: Establishing and maintaining APIs to external shipping partners and logistics networks. Efficiency enhancement: Reduction of error sources and time expenditure through IT-supported shipping processing.
