The goal is to provide participants with a secure understanding of the legal, organizational, and technical requirements of payroll accounting and to enable them to independently handle ongoing accounting processes. This training is aimed at individuals who wish to work professionally in the field of payroll accounting or systematically deepen their existing knowledge. At the beginning, the fundamental structures of payroll accounting are addressed. This includes the legal framework for wage accounting, the obligations of employers, as well as the basic regulations of social security and income tax law. Participants engage with the individual components of payroll accounting and learn about different types of remuneration and their effects on tax and social contributions. Additionally, working time models, absences, and their representation in the accounting are discussed. Building on this, the practical application of the Lexware Payroll and Salary Accounting software follows. Participants learn to create, maintain, and update employee master data, as well as to accurately record employment and accounting data. Another focus is on the creation, review, and correction of payroll and salary statements. Typical accounting situations as well as special cases are taken into account. Furthermore, the creation of legally required reports, particularly income tax declarations and social security reports, is addressed. Aspects of data security, documentation, and archiving of accounting documents are also part of the course. Another focus is on the practical implementation of payroll accounting. Using realistic case studies, participants work through complete accounting processes, identify potential sources of error, and learn to systematically correct discrepancies. Additionally, overviews and evaluations are created that are relevant for internal purposes or for collaboration with tax advisors, social security agencies, or authorities. Preparatory activities regarding audits and external controls are also discussed. The aim of the course is to provide participants with a structured and legally secure working method in payroll accounting with Lexware. Upon completion of the training, they will possess the necessary knowledge to conduct payroll and salary accounting using software, consider legal requirements, and confidently take on typical tasks of payroll accounting in their professional daily life.
