Course overview

Are you socially engaged, enjoy caregiving, and want to make a difference? Then the modular care training is just right for you. The modules of the Modular Training Center for Care are aimed at job seekers with and without professional experience in caregiving who want to qualify in specific areas of care without having to start a formal training or retraining program. After the training, you will have many opportunities in the job market. You can support individuals in need of care directly at home through an outpatient care service or work in care facilities. Additionally, you can specialize in areas such as dementia care or palliative care, or qualify for leadership positions in caregiving or care management. Contents: Module 1: Entry into Care - Basics with Job-related German Module 2: Basic Qualification for Taking on Care Assistant Activities Module 3: Caregiver according to §43 b and §53 c SGB XI mandatory: Practical Experience Module 4: Palliative Care Module 5: Basic Qualification in Gerontopsychiatry Module 6: Advanced Qualification in Outpatient Care Module 7: Computer-based Work in Care Module 8: Advanced Qualification in Treatment Care (LG1 and LG2) mandatory in NRW: Practical Experience Module 9: Outpatient Care Assistant with Driving License B mandatory in NRW: Practical Experience (480 hours) additionally mandatory for all federal states: Practical Experience (80 hours) The practical experience or internship is subject to state regulations.
