A shortage of skilled workers, increasing workloads, demographic developments, and changing expectations regarding leadership, collaboration, and working conditions present significant challenges for nursing facilities. At the same time, there is a growing desire for more participation, appreciation, meaningfulness, and personal development in everyday work. In this training, you will gain a solid insight into the fundamentals of New Work and its significance for the health and nursing sector. You will learn about the principles behind modern work and organizational forms and how these can sustainably promote motivation, personal responsibility, innovation capability, and employee satisfaction. The specifics of everyday nursing will be taken into account, and practical approaches for successful implementation will be presented. A special focus is on innovative models from international nursing practice. You will explore the success factors of Magnet hospitals and gain insights into current initiatives such as Magnet4Europe. It will become clear what conditions are necessary to create attractive workplaces, retain employees in the long term, and strengthen the quality of care. Furthermore, you will engage with modern leadership approaches, participatory collaboration, and a contemporary corporate culture. Topics such as self-organization, participation, meaning orientation, personal development, and psychological safety will be practically illuminated. You will learn how these factors can contribute to strengthening teams, successfully accompanying change processes, and sustainably securing the future viability of nursing facilities.
