Nursing Management - Basic Training for Area Management (Responsible Nursing Staff)

Course overview

The training is based on the guidelines according to AVPfleWoqG and § 71 Abs. 3 Satz 4, SGB XI and aims to impart current professional knowledge for the leadership and organization of a nursing unit and in nursing science. It is designed to enable participants to apply acquired knowledge appropriately in leadership practice, to positively shape the living and working environment of residents and staff, to adequately manage the challenges associated with leadership tasks, and to develop a critical awareness of the interactions between leadership activities and societal, economic, ecological, and political influencing factors, which should be understood and considered in coordination with the facility management. Module A: Social Leadership Qualifications (200 UE) Module B: Economic Qualifications (80 UE) Module C: Organizational Qualifications (92 UE) Module D: Structural Qualifications (88 UE) 460 basic teaching hours Classes are conducted in-person, online, and as self-organized learning (SOL) Each module concludes with a case study The final examination consists of a project work, a presentation, and a professional discussion
