Nurse - Part-time Training / Retraining

Course overview

Starting in 2020, the previously separate training programs in elderly care, health/children's nursing, and health/nursing will be merged into a single program referred to as "generalist nursing training." Training Process: You choose the focus of your practical training by selecting a care facility or hospital as your training provider. You will sign a training contract for "Nurse" with appropriate remuneration. During the three-year training, you will learn about all other areas of application in cooperating practice facilities that your training provider does not cover. Classes are held at our vocational school. We will continuously support you throughout the entire training. With the qualification "Nurse," you will gain EU-wide recognition with numerous opportunities for deployment and advancement in all areas of nursing. Under certain conditions, you can choose "Health and Children's Nursing" or "Elderly Care" as your professional qualification for the third year of training. Theoretical Training: (a total of 2,100 teaching hours): Nursing processes and nursing diagnostics Communication and counseling Intra- and interdisciplinary action Law and ethics Nursing science and professional ethics Practical Training: (includes at least 2,500 hours): You will gain practical experience in your training provider and other medical care facilities, such as inpatient and outpatient care facilities, hospitals, as well as psychiatric, pediatric, and rehabilitation facilities. You will receive ongoing support from practice instructors on-site.
