Nursing Specialist - shortened to 2 years

Course overview

Start your shortened generalist nursing training from 2020 and become a qualified nursing specialist in just two years. The generalist nursing training combines the previously separate training programs for elderly care, health and pediatric nursing, and health and nursing care into a single program. Training Process: Before the start of your training, choose the focus of your practical training and select a nursing facility or hospital as your training provider. You will sign a training contract for nursing specialist with appropriate remuneration. During the shortened two-year training, you will learn about all other areas of application in cooperating practice facilities that your training provider does not cover. You will be taught at our vocational school. In addition to the theoretical training, we will support you throughout the entire training. As a nursing specialist, you will gain EU-wide recognition with numerous opportunities for deployment and advancement in all areas of nursing. Under certain conditions, at the end of the first year of training, you can choose health and pediatric nursing or elderly care as your professional qualification. Theoretical Training: Nursing processes and nursing diagnostics Communication and counseling Intra- and interdisciplinary action Law and ethics Nursing science and professional ethics Practical Training: You will gain practical experience in your training provider and other medical care facilities such as inpatient and outpatient nursing facilities, hospitals, as well as psychiatric, pediatric, and rehabilitation facilities. You will receive ongoing support from practice instructors on-site.
