Course overview

Goals of the Training The focus of the training Platform Development for Salesforce is to impart knowledge and skills for developing and customizing applications on the Salesforce platform. The content includes the fundamentals of object-oriented programming with Java, the development of applications using the Salesforce Platform App Builder, and the deepening of skills as a Salesforce Platform Developer. Additionally, knowledge about data structures and the Java class library is provided to create a solid foundation for developing Salesforce applications. Content of the Training The training content is available in English. The training can also be completed in German. Fundamentals of Object-Oriented Programming with Java Java language concepts and first Java programs Data types, operators, control structures, and methods Object-oriented modeling Classes and objects Inheritance and polymorphism Abstract classes and interfaces Advanced concepts Data Structures and Java Class Library Programming style Working with objects External packages and libraries Data structures Strings and Calendar File system and data streams Project: Salesforce Platform App Builder Using the learning platform Trailhead, students will learn the fundamentals of Salesforce. At the end of the course, the students will be able to design, build, and deploy custom applications. This course prepares them for the Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification. Project: Salesforce Platform Developer Using the learning platform Trailhead, students will learn how to develop their own applications, built from various parts of the Salesforce platform. At the end of the course, they will be able to use Apex, Visualforce, and basic Lightning components. This course prepares the students for the Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.
