Course overview

The knowledge examination is a way to compensate for existing differences compared to German nursing education and to meet the requirements for recognition as a nursing professional. Contents: The practical knowledge examination is conducted in one of the following nursing settings: inpatient acute care inpatient long-term care outpatient acute/long-term care The exact requirements are described in your assessment notice. Our nursing educators will review these requirements and coordinate the exact examination process with you and your employer, and will register your examination accordingly. Your result will be communicated to you immediately after the examination interview. If you do not pass the examination on your first attempt, you can repeat the oral knowledge examination a second time. Perspectives: After successfully completing the recognition process, you can work as a recognized nursing professional in the German healthcare system and apply your professional knowledge and skills in various fields of work.
