Course overview

The targeted instruction of trainees and the structured onboarding of new employees significantly influence the work atmosphere in nursing and medical care facilities. As a practical instructor, you take on the responsibility for integrating "newcomers" into the team, who must become familiar with the scope of tasks and the associated requirements, and you convey knowledge and skills to students according to their level of training. You will learn: to pedagogically accompany and assess trainees, new team members, nursing assistants, and interns, didactic competencies, to develop a pedagogical basic attitude, to convey a professional understanding of nursing, to plan, support, and design individual learning and instruction situations, to acquire basic knowledge of scientific work.
