Course overview

This training provides you with practical execution of payroll accounting based on a realistic company simulation. You will work with DATEV Payroll and Salary, handle typical tasks of personnel accounting, conduct monthly closings, and apply your knowledge through practical business transactions from human resources. Content: Get to know the company simulation of Goldberg E-Bikes GmbH and understand workflows and roles in human resources Set up DATEV Payroll and Salary, activate the initial client, and apply the basic functions of the software Check, record, and update company and employee master data Document absences and presences considering collective bargaining regulations and record payroll-relevant data Correctly calculate benefits in kind, one-time payments, and other components of remuneration Create new employees, maintain employee master data, and prepare payroll statements upon termination of employment Conduct monthly closings and evaluate the results of payroll accounting Analyze personnel management data and understand the relationship between personnel administration and payroll accounting Handle special payroll issues such as holiday pay, company and service bicycles, vacation compensation, working time accounts, and old-age pensions Prepare and understand the transfer of payroll data to financial accounting in DATEV Perspectives: With this qualification, you can independently handle practical tasks of payroll accounting with DATEV.
