The Product Owner in an agile environment acts as a central interface between stakeholders and the development team. They prioritize requirements in the Product Backlog, define product visions, and ensure that customer benefits are maximized. They drive innovations, validate product ideas through customer feedback, and derive improvements from this. In Scrum sprints, they represent customer perspectives, make decisions about product features, and support continuous organizational development by promoting an agile mindset. They enable self-organized teams and coordinate cross-functionality for effective product development.
