Course overview

The workshop "Project Management in Hospitals" provides practical insights into the fundamentals and tools of professional project management in the daily operations of hospitals. Given the increasing demands in healthcare, hospitals rely on efficient project structures to successfully implement changes—whether in the areas of digitalization, process optimization, certification, or organizational development. Using a comprehensive example project from the hospital context, participants will experience step by step how project management is professionally designed from goal definition to implementation. Workshop Concept The workshop is consistently practice-oriented: Working on a realistic example project (e.g., establishing a corporate health management system) Direct application of all methods in the project case Group exercises with typical roles, decision-making processes, and conflict situations Concrete work aids and templates for direct transfer to one's own projects Experience exchange with colleagues from the healthcare sector The instructors have many years of project experience in the hospital and healthcare sector and regularly accompany projects in hospitals.
