Course overview

This training course provides you with the fundamentals of double-entry bookkeeping and demonstrates the systematic structure of corporate accounting. You will learn to record business transactions both theoretically and using accounting software, understand components of annual financial statements, and apply business metrics to assess company development. Content: Understand the legal foundations of bookkeeping as well as the significance of commercial law, tax regulations, and merchant status Conduct inventories, create inventories, and apply the commercial law requirements for recording assets Trace the structure and changes of a balance sheet based on typical business transactions Safely apply booking accounts, booking entries, and the fundamentals of double-entry bookkeeping Book business transactions on asset and income accounts both theoretically and using Lexware Understand and correctly apply profit and loss statements as well as equity and income accounts Manage inventory accounts and distinguish between inventory accounting and expense accounting methods Properly conduct payment transactions and bookings between financial accounts Calculate and interpret business metrics such as liquidity, profitability, creditworthiness, and solvency Apply basic financing rules and assess the economic situation of a company based on key metrics Perspectives: With this qualification, you can independently handle basic tasks in financial accounting and securely record business transactions.
